INTRODUCTION
ALIVE AND WELL is made up of a talented group of health professionals from both orthodox and alternative fields. What binds us is the belief that we can make a difference to people’s lives through our different therapies.
We have created a range of products that are the finest quality and wonderful in cosmetic use. What excites us the most is that they both enhance and heal many aspects of our lives. All our products are handmade, much of this in our Covent Garden health centre.
In essential oils we find the breadth of nature in its most powerful, potent and accessible form. Whilst many oils are the active ingredients of orthodox drugs or the inspiration for chemical copies, their true potential is lost in these uses – this is the potential we are striving for.
They have provided a powerful natural medicine chest in all developed cultures. The earliest surviving recipes for their use are from 2000BC, and although we don’t know when God gave Moses instructions to make his holy, anointing oil, we do know that its modern analysis does elicit this biblical blend’s potent antibiotic and antiviral properties.
The delivery system of essential oils is so efficient that medical drugs are made to look crude by comparison. Unlike most modern drugs, oils are rapidly and readily absorbed through the skin, and work well from all of our bases. They enter the circulation and leave the body after three to twelve hours leaving no trace or residue.
Our blends are crafted by our potion-maker, Jennifer Gibbons, affectionately known to us Pops the Pink Witch. Pops has been working for many years with essential oils, she lives and breaths them, uses them in every aspect of her life. She uses oils for domestic cleaning, cooking, healing, for the kids, for room fragrances in fact pretty much everything. She is a magical person.
Finally, the two most important ingredients are not found in any other product in the same concentration, they are MAGIC and LOVE. We hope you enjoy ALIVE and WELL, and will look forward to more magical, wonderful products are on the way.

There was a magic alchemy at work in the creation of ALIVE and WELL, the result of which is two very complex, potent and yet subtle blends. They work in similar ways, to achieve seemingly opposite results, whilst having the ability to meet happily in the middle. ALIVE encourages you to come out of yourself to experience the world outside. It comes on slowly, like a sunrise. We hope you’ll get not just the refreshing, awakening side but also the strength, optimism and confidence it contains.

It’s hard to work out if it’s easier to get out of yourself or to get back in. WELL gives you the space to shake off those bits of the world you can happily leave behind. WELL encourages you to come back to yourself. The relaxation, warmth and comfort are as apparent as the harmony, balance and pleasure.
